1. Who we are
StrataView Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000) operates the StrataView platform at app.strataview.com.au and www.strataview.com.au. We are an Australian company and all data is hosted on Australian servers.
2. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, lot number, scheme details) and usage data (pages visited, features used, maintenance requests logged). We do not collect payment card details — billing is handled by invoice.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve the StrataView platform, send transactional notifications (maintenance updates, motion votes, levy notices), and provide customer support. We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. AI and your scheme data
Ask StrataView AI reads your scheme's by-laws and minutes to generate cited answers. This processing occurs on Australian infrastructure. Your scheme's documents are never used to train AI models for other customers and are never transferred outside Australia.
5. Who can see your data
Your scheme data is accessible to members of your scheme with the appropriate role (owner, committee, caretaker, strata manager). StrataView staff may access data for support purposes with your consent. We do not share data with third parties except where required by Australian law.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for the duration of your subscription. After cancellation, data is retained for 90 days and then deleted unless you request an export. Audit logs are retained for 7 years in accordance with strata legislation requirements.
7. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@strataview.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics (if enabled) use privacy-preserving tools that do not track individuals across sites.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify scheme administrators of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
